Meet Amy Holbrook – a lifelong Severna Park resident of over 40 years, single mom to a rising high school senior, and the Director of Community Outreach and Marketing at the Severna Park Community Center. Amy shares that choosing balance is a powerful act of motherhood, that community can change your life, and that letting go of perfection is the first step toward finding joy in everyday moments.

Leah shares her top 3 Maryland adventures, her love for practical jokes, and what inspired her to start sharing her family outings to help other local families get out and make lasting memories together.

Meet Alyson Figlioli, an Annapolis mom of two boys, wife, and Oncology Nurse Navigator at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. She guides and supports cancer patients and their families from diagnosis through the end of active treatment, and into survivorship. Alyson shares how important it is to “grab all the joy and time together that you can”, her favorite mom hack for finding calm in the chaos, and the top things she wishes people knew about her role as an Oncology Nurse Navigator.

​Meet Shana Greenbaum, an Annapolis mom of two, wife, and the founder and CEO of Healthy Fresh Meals, a thriving home delivery meal prep and catering business. After college, her experience in restaurants and catering, combined with her passion for meal prepping, led to a fitness journey that inspired her to launch her own business. Today, Shana leads a team of professionally trained chefs who prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for both adults and children.

Meet Tara De Leon, an Edgewater mom, wife, personal trainer, speaker + author of “Hot Mess to Hot Mom”. Tara has helped hundreds of women feel capable and confident by teaching them how to lift weights and get strong, healthy, and empowered. Tara shares tips for staying fit as a busy mom, the fun behind her reef keeper hobby, and the funny story of how she came up with the title of her book, “Hot Mess to Hot Mom”.

Meet Jade Jawish, a Kent Island mom of two, wife, and the founder of the newest dance cardio workout class in Maryland, Moms in Motion! Jade Jawish started Moms in Motion as an idea in a garage for friends to come to unwind, have fun + get a good workout. Now, Moms in Motion classes are full body workouts that combine cardio dance + toning! But it’s more than just a dance fitness class – it’s a community of women who come together to have fun, get fit, and feel good about themselves. You don’t have to be a mom or a dancer to join in on the fun! You just have to be willing to let loose and enjoy the music.

Meet Lisa Summers, a Baltimore native, wife + mom of two, travel content creator, and the founder of the Memory Makers Community, @itssummerssomewhere. After a rough year, a big surgery, and being laid off from her job of 10 years, Lisa started a social media account showing her passion for travel and helping others make more memories with their friends and families. ONLY 13 months later, It’s Summers Somewhere has grown to a community of over 143K on Instagram and 14K on TikTok! Lisa’s mission is to empower the community to find incredible experiences and to shine a light on businesses that truly deserve recognition.

Meet Ashley Earle, a Severna Park mom of 3 boys (12, 14 + 16), a Realtor with Monument Sotheby’s International Realty, and the powerful woman behind Annapolis Influencers! Ashley has always been a champion for small businesses – when she finds something she loves, she wants to share it with everyone! In addition to running Annapolis Influencers, Ashley stays busy with her real job as a Realtor with Stahley Thompson Homes helping people with one of the biggest decisions they will ever make!

Meet Rose Cherussery, a Kent Island mom of three, a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, a pre-service teacher educator, and the founder of Classroom For Change. Her mission is to create classrooms + communities that change the world by promoting equity in education and collectively working to improve the lives of children, youth, + families through changemaking research, policy, + practice. Rose explains how being a forever learner expands children’s knowledge of the world and why time is the best gift for loved ones.
