What is BloomHaven?
BloomHaven is Maryland Hall’s summer home—a place where live music, community, food, and summer nights come together on the lawn. This year’s series spans Grateful Dead-inspired jams, Go-Go, jazz, bluegrass, and folk, creating four distinct experiences connected by one thing: great music and great company under the summer sky.
Bring a blanket, grab a drink, settle into the lawn, and discover your soundtrack to summer.

JOIN US FOR THE KICKOFF OF MARYLAND HALL’S SUMMER CONCERT SERIES ON THE FRONT LAWN!
For more than a decade, Baltimore’s has been turning concerts into full-on summer experiences inspired by the music and spirit of the Grateful Dead. Expect two sets packed with extended jams, nonstop dancing, crowd singalongs, and the kind of electric energy that takes over the lawn from the first song to the final encore. From sunset skies and swirling guitars to classic Dead favorites echoing across BloomHaven, this is the summer concert experience Dead fans won’t want to miss.

Go-Go Barbeque with JoGo Project & Pressure Band
The cookout of the season starts here. Go-go, barbecue, cold drinks, and a summer night on the lawn at BloomHaven.
Join The JoGo Project, the WAMMIE Award-winning Washington, DC band known for blending jazz and go-go into one high-energy live experience. Founded by DC native Elijah Jamal Balbed, who performed alongside the legendary Chuck Brown, The JoGo Project brings the rhythm, soul, and feel-good energy that turns a concert into a full summer vibe. They’ll be joined by DMV based Go-Go and R&B group Pressure Band for two back to back sets!

Jazz and Jams – Natalie Brooke Band with Ahmed Warshanna Trio
Blending funk, jam, rock, and improvisational energy, Natalie Brooke brings a powerhouse live show led by her virtuosic keyboard playing and a band quickly making waves across the live music scene. Having shared the stage with acts like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco, Big Something, Cris Jacobs, Doom Flamingo, Sunsquabi, and lespecial, Natalie Brooke delivers the kind of free-flowing, high-energy performance made for a summer night on the lawn.
Opening the evening is Baltimore-based jazz guitarist Ahmed Warshanna and his genre-defying trio, returning to BloomHaven after a previous sold-out performance at Maryland Hall. Performing music from his brand new album, Warshanna brings the kind of magnetic musicianship and improvisational spirit that makes this night a must for jazz lovers and jam fans.
