SUMMARY:Fish Hawk Friends Playgroup - June Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Fish Hawk Friends is an open-ended outdoor playgroup for children aged 0–5. Reggio-inspired and guided by the changing seasons\, we are educator-informed\, child-focused\, and process-driven. \nIt is run by two experienced educators and local Annapolis mums. Mandy Sheffer is a Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood educator\, art teacher\, and preschool director. Mandy Vander Kolk is certified in K-12 special education and middle school science. \nFish Hawk Friends is set on a private 1-acre property in Annapolis\, perched by the Chesapeake Bay near Sandy Point SP. We will meet on Monday mornings at 10:00am for 1.5 hours of outdoor play and teacher-facilitated activities. \nWe offer three different types of play sessions each month!\nOpen-play sessions\, encourage children’s exploration and self-direction ($25 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling)\nFor our process-play sessions\, we create sensory-focused provocations and activities for the children to explore and play with ($30 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling)\nDuring our purpose-led play sessions\, we will offer hands-on activities for parents and children\, inspired by our love for the natural world and Reggio-inspired learning ($35 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling) \nIf you’re interested in learning more\, subscribing to our monthly newsletter\, or signing up for a session\, head to our website! ╰┈➤ www.fishhawkfriends.com\nYou can also follow us on Instagram: @fishhawkfriends\nAnd on Facebook: F.
