Whether you go to Nantucket every summer or you’re planning a trip this year for the first time, making it fun for the whole family is always top of mind. And by the whole family, that includes parents, too! That’s why Layla Lisiewski, CEO of The Local Moms Network, is sharing all about The Nantucket Club. “The Nantucket Club's Family Membership at the Nantucket Hotel is the ultimate Mom Hack on ACK,” says Layla.
Here’s what she loves about it—and why you will, too.
It’s a Flexible Kids' Club within the Iconic Nantucket Hotel
There are several membership options, but the summer weekly membership is perfect for most families. “The Supervised Kids' club is open every morning Mon-Saturday from June 28 through Labor Day and was a game changer for family,” says Layla. “My (ages 5 to 12) are able to enjoy the beach, tie-dye day and a trip to the whaling museum, while I spend time at the Ocean Day spa, read by the adults-only pool, and play tennis,” says Layla.
This amazing Kids' Club is available for potty-trained 3-year-olds up to kids who are 12. Live on island or there all summer? Check out the year-round, semi-daily and seasonal memberships as well. Need a kid-free or planned family night? Club memberships also offer an evening program on Tuesday and Fridays, Dive-In Movies for families on Thursdays, as well as Firepit S’mores.

The Facilities are Truly Top Notch
This is a dedicated facilities for families, with an expansive gym, playroom, game room, in addition to the mini excursions. “For me, there’s peace of mind knowing my kids are safe and having a great time in a clean environment,” says Layla. “The people are also so kind and helpful—shoutout to Fulya Castrello (the guest services manager) and Estefany (my favorite masseuse).
It’s Right in The Nantucket Hotel
When you’re on vacation the last thing you want to be doing is driving around and trying to navigate new routines and directions. The iconic Nantucket Hotel has 46 rooms that are mostly suites (perfect for families) and a prime location. “I pick the kids up from the club and we can grab a sweet treat at their fave—Juice Bar!” says Layla.

You Can Focus on Family Time, Refreshed
Vacationing alone your kids can feel like a work trip instead of a vacation. “Taking the time to do what I want in the morning makes me ready to be the “fun mom” for the rest of the afternoon and evening,” says Layla. She adds: “We spend plenty of time as a family, going to The Breeze and Millie’s for dinner, heading to Jetty’s and Cisco beaches and going on antique fire truck rides (right at the hotel!).”
Think of The Nantucket Kids' Club as self-care for moms—take care of yourself first so they get a calmer, happier mom!
