The 0.05K MRE Bridge Run

Described as “the least challenging athletic event ever conceived” by Runner’s World magazine, the .05K extreme sports event is a (not so) grueling test of mental and physical toughness. Some competitors have taken as long as five minutes to complete the course that begins on the Annapolis side of the Spa Creek Bridge.

After completing the race, join your fellow athletes for an after party outside at O’Learys Seafood Restaurant, where we can fortify ourselves with live music and libations from beer and food trucks, and cheer on the race winners as they receive their just rewards from our panel of highly esteemed judges.

Online registration closes at the crack o’ midnight on Friday, May 9.
Kids under 12 are free with their parent’s registration.

Race Day is Saturday May 9
10a-11:30a Registration and t-shirt pickup at Long & Foster. Then pick up your bib next door at MRE Mercantile (318 6th St.) and enjoy FREE coffee and bagels courtesy of Rise Up Coffee. Show your cosumes to the judges, and get pics taken with Travis Pastrana’s Race Car.

11:30a Registration closes.
11:40a Singing of the National Anthem by city councilmember Peter Smith
11:50a Walk to the Dark Side to start the race.
Race starts at the crack o’ noon.
12:15p – 2p Awards and after party at O’Leary’s parking lot.
