Maryland Seafood Festival
A late-summer staple with seafood vendors, live music, local shopping, and plenty of space to take in Bay views. Highlights include a crab soup cook-off, an oyster-shucking contest, and a crab cake eating contest. Skipjack Heritage Days runs alongside the festival, offering hands-on activities, educational exhibits, public sails, and a Sunday skipjack race visible from East Beach. Oh and The World’s Largest Duck, known as Mama Duck is making her debut at this festival, a moment that will be talked about for quite some time!
