Learn to Fish: Family Fly-Fishing Day!
Cast, explore, and discover the magic of fly fishing at this hands-on, family-friendly adventure! Try your hand at fly-casting with expert guidance, master essential knots, and dive into the underwater world of trout and the tiny macroinvertebrates they depend on. Wander through a series of fun activity stations at your own pace—practice casting, tie flies, explore stream ecology, or join a mini-mission to spot aquatic critters.
Whether you’re brand-new or already hooked, this relaxed, self-guided program is the perfect way to learn, play, and connect with the river together!
This program will be held outside, weather permitting. Please plan accordingly. You are welcome to bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy this program.
Registration helps us plan, but walk-ins are welcome when space is available.
