Fish Hawk Friends Playgroup
| LET’S PLAY! Join us at playgroup from 10-11.30am for a morning of open-ended outdoor play (babes in arms are always free).
The Mandys will be there to help scaffold play, but for our open-play sessions we give children the autonomy to shape their play however their imagination sees fit. In our open-ended play environment, your child’s play will unfold as they investigate, experiment, socialize, make plans and solve problems. Fish Hawk Friends will always be a loving and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome, heard, valued, and accepted no matter where they come from, what they believe, how they identify, who they love, or the color of their skin. |
Fish Hawk Friends is set on a private 1-acre property perched by the Chesapeake Bay near Sandy Point SP. Our spring season begins Monday, April 13th. We will meet on Monday mornings for 1.5 hours of outdoor play and teacher-facilitated activities.
We now offer three different types of play sessions each month!
Open-play sessions, encourage children’s exploration and self-direction ($25 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling)
For our process-play sessions, we create sensory-focused provocations and activities for the children to explore and play with ($30 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling)
During our purpose-led play sessions, we will offer hands-on activities for parents and children, inspired by our love for the natural world and Reggio-inspired learning ($35 per session plus $15 for each additional sibling)
