Build a Portable Pollinator Garden
Join staff from the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) to build a 2’x2′ rolling planter of native plants to take home (one planter per household). We’ll provide the planter, soil, and starter plants. You’ll also receive one mini-trail camera, built by local teens for monitoring your mini-garden native pollinators, that you can use for learning about who visits your native plants. We’ll walk you through setup and how to capture pollinator images. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Registration is required. Please register your entire group once.
