Anne Arundel County Fair

Then come September, the full fair takes over Crownsville for five days. The Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds has been bringing the community together through festivals, fairs, and family fun since 1952. The fair features live music, carnival rides, midway games, pig races, a petting zoo, pony rides, and performances for all ages, with hours running Wednesday and Thursday 5–10 PM, Friday 5–11 PM, Saturday 9 AM–11 PM, and Sunday 9 AM–8 PM at 1450 General’s Highway in Crownsville. Parking is free on-site.
Beyond the rides, the petting zoo lets families meet and interact with exotic and domestic animals from around the world — from sheep and goats to camels and kangaroos — with free admission and animal feed available for purchase. The pig races are always a crowd favorite, and SQUAWK! the Show brings fast-paced, laugh-out-loud parrot performances with audience participation. Admission includes entrance into the fair, but carnival rides and games are sold separately.
Whether you catch the June rodeo or go all-in for fair week in September, it’s a classic Anne Arundel County tradition the whole family will love.
