Expect more than 200 professional performers across ten stages\, armored jousting in a 3\,000-seat arena\, comedy sword fighting\, magicians\, jugglers\, minstrels\, and street characters roaming the village all day long. Over 140 artisans fill the shops with handmade jewelry\, woodwork\, leatherwork\, stained glass\, ceramics\, and more — plus 42 food and beverage spots if you want to really commit to the experience. \nKids absolutely love it. Between the jousting\, the costumes\, the characters\, and the general chaos of a full 16th-century English village\, it tends to be one of those days that they talk about for weeks. DESCRIPTION:  \nCounty Executive Steuart Pittman invites you to join us at our 2026 River Days Festivals! \n\nRiver Days are festivals that provide free water access opportunities to county residents through fun recreational and educational activities on county rivers. \n  \n2026 Festivals\nThis summer\, the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office will host four River Days festivals at different waterfront locations throughout the county. \n“The goal of these events is to provide public water access and inspire our residents to become stewards who will protect the health of our local waterways\,” said County Executive Pittman. “River Days provide families an opportunity to get out on the water and fall in love with the place that they live.” \nRiver Days Festivals are hosted by the County Executive’s Office. All events are free and open to the public. Each festival will feature fun activities for all ages\, including boat rides\, water activities\, environmental educators\, live music\, games\, crafts\, food trucks\, and more.
