These events are free and open to the public. \nThe U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron’s Blue Angels will perform a variety of high-speed\, aerobatic precision-maneuvers in an approximate two-hour performance over the Severn River. \nWednesday\, May 20\, the Blue Angels performance and flight demonstration will begin at 2 p.m. Spectators in the Ingram Field viewing areas will be able to hear the show’s narration. \nInformation about other commissioning week activities is available on the commissioning week schedule. \nPlease reference the visitor information for information about how to walk on to the yard\, and what items you may bring with you.

No fixed clock time\, just show up before the light gets golden and you’re good. \nEvery week Local artist @amanda_guinn will be painting the scene live. We are also opening it up to other artists to join her so send us a DM if you’re interested. \nHere’s how to show up: \n⛵ Got a boat? Drop anchor on Back Creek and enjoy the show from your deck. Stage anchors around 5pm\, music starts 90 minutes before sunset. \n🚣 Kayak or paddleboard? Launch from Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park at 7314 Edgewood Road. Closest public launch to the show\, free parking\, and a floating dock right on Back Creek. Hit up @capitalsup at their Nautilus Point location to rent a kayak or SUP. \n🛥️ Want to do it right? Book a charter with @chronicsailing and spend the whole evening on the water with your crew. Link in bio. \n🚶 On foot? Walk through Ellen O. Moyer Park and post up on the dock. These events are free and open to the public. \nThe U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron’s Blue Angels will perform a variety of high-speed\, aerobatic precision-maneuvers in an approximate two-hour performance over the Severn River. \nTuesday\, May 19\, the Blue Angels will perform circle and arrival maneuvers between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. followed by a rehearsal of their flight demonstration between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. \nWednesday\, May 20\, the Blue Angels performance and flight demonstration will begin at 2 p.m. Spectators in the Ingram Field viewing areas will be able to hear the show’s narration. \nInformation about other commissioning week activities is available on the commissioning week schedule. \nPlease reference the visitor information for information about how to walk on to the yard\, and what items you may bring with you.
