DESCRIPTION:  \nCounty Executive Steuart Pittman invites you to join us at our 2026 River Days Festivals! \n\nRiver Days are festivals that provide free water access opportunities to county residents through fun recreational and educational activities on county rivers. \n  \n2026 Festivals\nThis summer\, the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office will host four River Days festivals at different waterfront locations throughout the county. \n“The goal of these events is to provide public water access and inspire our residents to become stewards who will protect the health of our local waterways\,” said County Executive Pittman. “River Days provide families an opportunity to get out on the water and fall in love with the place that they live.” \nRiver Days Festivals are hosted by the County Executive’s Office. All events are free and open to the public. Each festival will feature fun activities for all ages\, including boat rides\, water activities\, environmental educators\, live music\, games\, crafts\, food trucks\, and more. Boat rides are free\, but capacity is limited and tickets will be available first come\, first served to festival attendees beginning one hour before each scheduled boat ride departure. SUMMARY:Muddy Creek Artists Guild  Summer Artfest
DESCRIPTION:The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is a roving band of intrepid artists whose mission is to support and promote the original art of southern Anne Arundel County artists. In this show\, the Guild will present a professional art gallery experience\, featuring a wide range of subjects and influences\, from abstract to realism. You will see how our special Chesapeake Bay inspires the work of several of our artists. Some of the media types include painting\, pottery\, photography\, jewelry\, glass\, mixed media\, etching\, textiles & sculptures. The show provides a great opportunity to engage with local artists\, as well as shop for unique artworks and gift items.
