DESCRIPTION:Have a digital camera you don’t know how to use? Want to brush up on your photography skills? Join photographer Kaitlyn McQuaid for “First Exposure\,” a 4-week digital photography workshop covering the foundations of photography. This workshop will run for 2 hours each week and we’ll cover one element of photography in-depth including Aperture\, ISO\, Shutter Speed\, Lighting\, and Composition. We’ll practice with in-class\, hands-on exercises\, and tips for capturing moments on your own outside of class. \n\nNotes\nYou will receive an email 1 week before class starts with additional information. \n\nClass Requirements\nA digital DSLR camera is strongly recommended but if you only have a sophisticated point and shoot\, we are happy to have you as well. Just be mindful that some of the point and shoots do not always let you adjust as many settings. With this in mind\, please check in with us if you have something different so our Instructor can see what kind of digital camera you have before the workshop starts.

Stage anchors around 5pm\, music starts 90 minutes before sunset. \n🚣 Kayak or paddleboard? Launch from Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park at 7314 Edgewood Road. Closest public launch to the show\, free parking\, and a floating dock right on Back Creek. Hit up @capitalsup at their Nautilus Point location to rent a kayak or SUP. \n🛥️ Want to do it right? Book a charter with @chronicsailing and spend the whole evening on the water with your crew. Link in bio. \n🚶 On foot? Walk through Ellen O. Moyer Park and post up on the dock.
