DESCRIPTION:The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is a roving band of intrepid artists whose mission is to support and promote the original art of southern Anne Arundel County artists. In this show\, the Guild will present a professional art gallery experience\, featuring a wide range of subjects and influences\, from abstract to realism. You will see how our special Chesapeake Bay inspires the work of several of our artists. Some of the media types include painting\, pottery\, photography\, jewelry\, glass\, mixed media\, etching\, textiles & sculptures. The show provides a great opportunity to engage with local artists\, as well as shop for unique artworks and gift items. In our Wood Art Workshop\, you’ll pour resin onto a pre-made wood board to create your own custom color and design and make a one-of-a-kind piece of art! Boards available in acacia\, bamboo\, mahogany and teak wood! You’ll leave your Wood Art for the resin to cure (harden)\, and we’ll sand resin drips off the back and oil your board\, ready for your use!
