Fired Up for Scouting Community Event
Looking for a FREE family adventure? Come see what Scouting is all about on Saturday, August 15th from 9a until 1p at The Church at Severn Run (8187 Telegraph Rd, Severn, MD 21144).
Bring the whole family for a day of fun, hands-on activities, and exciting community experiences. Whether your child loves exploring the outdoors, making new friends, learning new skills, or trying something new, this is the perfect opportunity to discover how Scouting helps both girls and boys build confidence, leadership, and lifelong memories.
Meet local Scouts, connect with Scouting leaders, and learn how your family can get involved while enjoying activities such as:
• Gaga Ball
• Rain Gutter Regatta
• Campfire with s’mores
• Learn how to pack a backpack
• Tent setup demonstrations
• And much more!
You’ll also have the chance to meet our amazing community partners, including the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, and Anne Arundel County Department of Health. Explore emergency vehicles, watch demonstrations, and connect with the professionals who serve our community every day.
Scouting is open to both girls and boys and offers year-round adventures through camping, STEM activities, leadership development, community service, and friendships that last a lifetime.
