MEET OUR TEAM
Katie Guido | Founder
Katie is the founder of Anne Arundel Moms, a community resource built to give busy moms (+ dads!) the gift of time, make life a little easier, and help families stay connected. She is an Annapolis native, wife, and stay-at-home working mom of two kids and their dog, Mud.
After graduating from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) Katie got her first post-college job as a Spring Break Travel Agent. She went on to build a 10-year career in marketing and public relations, followed by a Business Development role at a local video production company. Now, she’s doing her favorite job yet…being a full-time Mom and local resource for busy parents! 3 years ago, Katie took over Annapolis Moms Network. Since then, the page has grown and, with a brand new name, Anne Arundel Moms, to cover more than just Annapolis!
Katie’s goal with Anne Arundel Moms is to give busy parents the gift of time by sifting through all the information out there to provide organized resource guides, roundups of family-friendly events, introductions to talented moms, and, most importantly, a connection to the Anne Arundel County community. Katie is a proud sponsor of many local events, including Fish for a Cure, Denim and Diamonds, For the Love of the Library with AACPL, Calm for a Cure, Lights on the Bay, Annapolis Pride, The Military Bowl, and many more.
